Certification in the new curricula will give you new information about trauma and self-care that can help you and your First Aiders to #BeTheDifference for those struggling with challenges… Certification & Accreditation. A Certificate of Completion will be issued at the end of the course. MHFA is accredited directly through Mental Health First Aid Australia. Once you have completed the course, Mental Health First Aid Australia will send you a link to take the short accreditation assessment. To help ensure that the lessons learned in Mental Health First Aid last a lifetime, Mental Health First Aiders who have taken the Adult or Youth Mental Health First Aid course three or more years ago should re-certify to stay up-to-date on the latest information about mental health and substance use disorders, and how to offer help to people who may need it.
